Description:

Join us for an informal conversation with Attorney Christina Bostick and descendants of Henrietta Lacks to celebrate the spirit of Juneteenth by reclaiming the Legacy of Henrietta Lacks as the family seeks justice for their ancestor.

Henrietta Lacks' cells have earned medical science more than a billion dollars worldwide, but neither her estate nor her family were ever compensated. This event is both a public program to raise awareness about the upcoming litigation and a fundraiser for the family's legal fund.
