In collaboration with Make Music Day DC, we are pleased to welcome Priscilla Coleman Jenkins to Busboys and Poets for a special performance that is free and open to all.
Make Music Day DC is part of the worldwide Make Music Day celebration held each year on June 21, bringing communities together through free, live musical performances in public spaces, neighborhoods, parks, businesses, and cultural venues across the District. The event celebrates the power of music to connect people and make the arts accessible to everyone
Takoma DC Resident, Priscilla Coleman Jenkins is a singer, song writer, YouTuber and SoundCloud artist. Her songs are Contemporary Gospel- Scripture lyrics with instrumentals in the genres AfroBeat, Go-Go, Hip-Hop, R&B and Rock. Priscilla performs in outreach settings to foster healing and hope. She enjoys walks in nature, photography and spending time with family and friends.
