Join us for an evening of original music and poetry created in collaboration with residents at the DC Jail! Over the course of 10-weeks, Project Poetic Justice participants worked with local poets, composers, and performers to create brand new works and showcase their talents.
The show begins at 5:30pm on Saturday, May 2nd and kicks off with a dynamic panel discussion on the role of arts education in jails and prisons. The concert is open to the public and located in the Davis Room at the 450 K Street Busboys. Tickets are free or by donation. All music will be performed by local musicians from the DC/Baltimore region.
