Join us in wishing a very #CappyBirthday to a true literary, feminist, and activist queen: Audre Lorde!
Capitally Magazine will celebrate Audre's inspiring influence with delicious brunch (there will be mimosas!), poetry readings from DC's brightest voices, polaroid decorating, and a chance to snag killer Audre merch!
Proceeds from the event will support Chance Academy, an incredible DC school working to encourage literacy among urban youth. We can't think of a more meaningful way to celebrate what would have been Audre's 84th birthday!
