GrowingPalestine is hosting a campaign launch for FOOD IS LIFE; Protect Palestinian farmers from Israeli violence with

Special Guest Speaker, Vivien Sansour

referred “to as the“Seed Queen of Palestine”

Sansour will take us on a journey and guide us in an interactive experience; a memorial for our martyrs and a return to life. She will share ancestral knowledge that has helped our ancestors survive for centuries. The seeds carry Palestinian resistance; seeds are power.

Farmers in the West Bank and Gaza-custodians of the earth-know how to plant and forage despite an oppressive occupation. Violence against them and destruction of the land must not go unchecked. Palestinian farmers apply ancestral practices, protect time-honored seeds, and plant with their souls. They are the protectors of the earth and of all humanity.
