For two hours audiences can expect a diverse chorus of voices and a vast array of professional spoken word performers, open mic rookies, musicians and a different host every week.

Mary Bowman is an internationally recognized motivational speaker, singer, and poet native to the Washington, DC area. Drawing from personal experience, both transparent and vulnerable whether, in poetry or song, her words allow her access to spaces that aren’t traditionally artistic. From local open mic nights to international conferences and beyond, Mary shares herself openly and proudly. Mary’s life and work have been featured in various mediums; print publications, as well as broadcast television and radio networks. Her powerful performance caught the attention of the editors of A&U Magazine and led them to invite Mary to grace the cover of the August 2016 issue. Mary is humbly continuing to carry out her vision to inspire people to find their own personal empowerment and freedom through her art. Mary has three projects available for purchase, ‘LOTUS’ the 2010 collection of poetry, LOVE B.O.A.T.S. the ep, released in 2014, and EMERGE the 2017 collection of poetry.
Caleb Hacker is a singer-songwriter, born in May of 1991 in Fairfax, Virginia and raised in the northern Virginia area. His melodic voice and acoustic guitar bring together a sound all his own. An eclectic mélange of indie rock and old school soul, with a sprinkling of pop. He got his musical start singing in church at the age of 7. From there he spent his childhood and teen years singing in his church and school choir. He started playing guitar at age 17, after taking a class his senior year in high school and then self teaching himself through learning different songs on his own. He spent the next several years heavily posting covers on YouTube, and later Instagram, which helped him gain a steady online following as well as garner the recognition of many artist such as Snoop Dogg, Meghan Trainor, Erik Hassle, T-boz of TLC and Monica just to name a few.
In May of 2012 he cracked the Amazon Top 40 Singer/Songwriter charts with the release of his first EP entitled "Waking Up”. He released an acoustic album entitled Parking Lots & Purple Skies in 2015 and cracked the top 100 Singer/Songwriter charts on iTunes, reaching number 83. In June 2018 Glamour magazine featured him on an episode of their series “You Sang My Song” where Christina Aguilera praised him for his cover of her song “The Voice Within”. He has spent the last two years building a local fanbase in the DMV, performing at a wide array of venues throughout the area. He is currently working on his second full length album.
