Description:

Though a Gaza "ceasefire" has been declared, Israel continues military operations and has blocked the entry of aid trucks as stipulated in the agreement. Hamas has returned the remains of deceased Israeli captives it could recover, yet Israel has falsely claimed violations of the ceasefire terms—despite acknowledging that many bodies remain buried under rubble from over two years of bombardment.

Released Palestinian prisoners have described brutal detention conditions and systematic torture in Israeli facilities. Bodies of deceased Palestinians returned to Gaza bear evidence of abuse, some still bound with restraints.

As aid slowly begins entering Gaza and large-scale bombing subsides, Trump and Netanyahu are pushing for Gaza's disarmament and demilitarization—demands Hamas did not agree to in the ceasefire deal. This contentious issue will dominate the next phase of negotiations, which Hamas insists must include all Palestinian factions.
