Free Verse: A PGAAMCC Open Mic
Join Prince George's African American Museum & Cultural Center and Busboys and Poets Hyattsville for an open mic in celebration of National Poetry Month. Poets, emcees, singers, songwriters, and instrumentalists welcome. Hosted by Drew Anderson aka Droopy the Broke Baller; performance feature by Dwayne B aka the "Crochet Kingpin." This event is in partnership with PGCSIF Forty Under 40 and sponsored by Busboys and Poets.
$5 cover. Wristbands are available for purchase online here in the restaurant the day of the event. No refunds. Ticket purchase limit of 4 per person. Guests must have their wristbands (tickets) on upon entering the event.
Seating is available on a first come, first seated basis. No saved or reserved seats are allowed. Failure to check in within 30 minutes of advertised start time may result in forfeiture of seats. Sorry, no refunds.Â
