Words have the power to change lives and open minds. Join us for the Voice2Verse Poetry Slam & Open Mic. Through the power of spoken word, DMV youth will use their voices to help bring awareness to the issues of Teen Dating Violence (TDV) and Mental Health. Slam participants will be eligible to win a micro-scholarship. Poets, singers, rappers, and musicians also invited to lend their talents to the cause.
Youth ages 13-19 are welcomed to enter. Contact voice2verse@forthehealinginyou.org as soon as possible with their interest.
