Please join Busboys and Poets Books as we welcome author Nick Licata to 5th and K to discuss his new book "Becoming a Citizen Activist."
"Becoming a Citizen Activist" is a self-help book for citizens wanting to change the political world around them; learn to see opportunities for improvements and you learn what tools are available. Licata shows how to effectively question the status quo and offer alternative solutions to achieve a more responsive government and just society. He systematically goes through the steps required to be an effective change agent; twenty community groups are now using his book to do just that."
