Join us in the Langston Room for the first installment of a four part series, The Upper Room Sunday Standard series is an interpretation on select composers and their work, incorporating elements from jazz and hip hop traditions. This installment is an interpretation of pieces by John Coltrane, led by Tarus Mateen on bass, and features Brian Settles on tenor saxophone, Hope Udobi on keys, and Allen Jones on drums.
