For over five months, Ward 8 has been without council representation. On this day, residents will decide who will be the next council member to represent the Great Ward 8.
Candidates on the ballot include: Salim Adofo (D), Mike Austin (D), Sheila Bunn (D), and Trayon White (D).
Running as write-in candidates are: Mary Roach (D), Oliver Roy (D), and Delonte Ford Singh (R).
Join us for our Hoppy Tuesday special featuring $5 beers, and meet up with friends and neighbors to discuss your vision for Ward 8. We’ll be following the DC Board of Elections and announcing who’s in the lead after 8 PM.
