Join Indiana University’s Media Digitization and Preservation Initiative and Memnon Archiving Services to celebrate a milestone in IU’s mass digitization project- 250,000 AV items preserved since 2015. We’re having a free listening party for all the radio lovers out there! Come have snacks and refreshments and mingle while listening to clips from IU’s collection of preserved radio programs. Hear some of Orson Welles’ 1938 radio broadcast of H. G. Wells’ “The War of the Worldsâ€, newly digitized from glass transcription disks, the “The Afro-American in Indiana†and the “School of the Sky.â€
