Description:

Join us at Busboys and Poets 14th and V for a screening of The Palestine Exception followed by a Q & A with Director Jennifer Ruth.

The Palestine Exception investigates the largest anti-war movement since the 1970s, showcasing the powerful divestment campaigns led by students, faculty, and staff against companies supporting Israel. This film features diverse and prominent academics addressing the long-standing censorship of criticisms against Israel and Zionism, shedding light on the struggle for free speech and justice in academia.

Jennifer Ruth is a professor in the School of Film at Portland State University in Portland, OR.
