Description:

🌟 Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of POETRY, CULTURAL PERFORMANCES, and DIALOGUE!

✨ This event brings together African Americans, Black Caribbeans, and African immigrants to reflect on our shared history, celebrate the richness of our collective heritage, and discuss the strides we’ve made. Through art and dialogue, we honor Dr. King’s dream by fostering solidarity and driving progress together as well as celebrate Black History Month.

✊🏾 As the Swahili saying goes, "Kuna Nguvu Katika Umoja" (There is strength in unity).

✨ The event will showcase a vibrant and diverse lineup of talented poets, dancers, and musicians from the U.S. 🇺🇸, Burundi 🇧🇮, Haiti 🇭🇹, Jamaica 🇯🇲, and Nigeria 🇳🇬, bringing their dynamic and vibrant artistry to the stage.

✨ Event Highlights:

  • Inspiring poetry and cultural performances.
  • Insightful panel discussions on cultural heritage and solidarity.
  • Opportunities to connect with diverse communities.
