Description:

We Are Remembering: World Music & The Rites of Passage for CommUnity Revival

Join this one-of-a-kind, musically guided presentation of esteemed doctors, educators, musical composers, activists, doulas and storytellers as we consider the meaning of "Remembering" in this chaotic and challenging time in history. Hear from heart-centered stewards about their journey toward rites of passage work after decades of exhaustion and frustration in the professional fields of entertainment, medicine, religion and education.

This is a family-friendly evening of joyful reflection on the deeply humbling and memory-enhancing power of working with the rites of passage. Through music in a contemplative roots-fusion style -- and a sophisticated integration of various perspectives on science and spirituality -- we will explore the sound and philosophy of innerstanding our Nature within and without. Featuring unique, musically-rendered presentations by Aditi Sethi, M.D., Karen Bellone, Mongezi Ntaka, Andrew Kutt (with Andrew Faulstich), Jay Brown, and Jonathan Pillot. And woven together throughout by Joel Karabo Elliott in the form of a world music ensemble performance!

Entrance is free, with reciprocity/donations suggested at $20-$50. This is a volunteer, heArt-centered, artist-driven initiative and proceeds benefit continuation of the movement and cover costs of the event. There is limited seating, first come first served.

The We Are ReMembering Tour is a collaborative movement guided by:

Center for Conscious Living & Dying
