Join Girl Scout Troop 3859 for a Fall Book Drive! Based at Saint Augustine Parish, Girl Scout Troop 3859's community action project is sharing the gift of reading with those readers who oftentimes are economically prohibited from owning brand new books. They donate books and read with children at the following locations around the metropolitan area: Saint Augustine School, New Community for Children, Sister Thea Bowman House and Carpenter’s Shelter.
The book drive allows the Girl Scouts to exercise the three pillars of Girl Scouting: courage, character and confidence. All those who purchase books during the Girl Scout Book drive will receive 15% off their purchase.Â
