Join us for a night for laughter at Busboys and Poets.
All profits and 100% donations will go to the Lebanese Red Cross, working tirelessly on the ground to save the lives of the wounded. Lebanon is being bombarded multiple times a day and 25% of the population is now displaced.
Since the 17th of September, the war in Lebanon has escalated rapidly and the death and destruction has reached all areas of the country. More than 1 million persons have now been displaced throughout Lebanon and are in dire need shelter, relief and health service. Since the 7th of October 2023, Lebanon has suffered more than 8000 casualties, of which at least 1700 confirmed killed, and this figure has been rising dramatically since the 18th of September. This is all happening in an already fragile context, with the conflict raging since the 8th of October 2023, the economic crisis, and with Lebanon still being the country with the highest ratio of refugees per capita in the world.
