Join us for the DC premiere of Bird Walk, a documentary produced by localfilmmaker Cintia Cabib. The film focuses on the birds and birders who have flocked to RedGate Park in Rockville, Maryland, a former golf course which was closed in 2018, and on the citizen campaign which lobbied to preserve this open space as a public park. Watch Trailer ››Following the film there will be a panel discussion about the film and the lessons learned from this campaign that can be applied to the Rock Creek Park Golf Course campaign that aims to protect over 1,200 trees, birds and wildlife habitats under threat from a plan to improve the golf course.
