As the saying goes, "you have to see it to be it," and Grassroots Comedy wants to see more women and nonbinary folx on stage!
We're proud to present the Graduation Showcase for the third iteration of our new "You Belong on Stage" Standup Comedy Incubator for Women and Nonbinary Folx! Most of this cohort had never tried standup comedy before this class, and all have been working hard to find their comedic voices and hone their five minute sets. Proceeds will go towards the incubator itself, which works to make the comedy scene in Washington, DC (and the world) a more diverse and inclusive space.
