Join us for a lively political conversation about the revolutionary black Marxist thinker C.L.R. James. This two-hour event will feature talks on how James's writings and political work in America from the 1950s to the 1980s helped shape a distinctive approach to realizing the socialist struggle in America. The event will feature a keynote address from historian Adolph Reed who the New Yorker has referred to as "the Marxist who antagonizes liberals and the left." Discussions and talks from Pascal Robert, Daniel Tutt, Vanessa Wills, Derick Varn and Billy Buntin will also be on offer. The event is moderated by This is Revolution podcast host Jason Myles.
