Festival of Literary Arts: The Business of Writing Fundamentals: A Practical Overview of What All Authors Should Know

Is writing a book more than an item to cross off your bucket list? If you are ready to commit to the endeavor, this panel discussion is designed for you. Experienced literary professionals reveal the business aspects of publishing and selling books. What does it take to working with freelancers and editors, select a book printer, and learn to market your work professionally? Come join experienced and award-wining authors. Jessica Tilles, Amy S. Hansen, Sandra Bowman, Austin S. Camacho, and Omar Tyree to hear these answers and more. Free Admission.

Admission: Free and Open to the Public

The Prince George’s Arts and Humanities Council (PGAHC) will collaborate with Pen America, World Voices Festival, New York City to present the 2017 Festival of Literary Arts (FOLA).
