Film Screening and Discussion of America In Transition
Take a real look at social change from the perspective of transgender people in marginalized communities. Presented by André Pérez, this program will include a screening and discussion of segments from this documentary series. André is an oral historian, educator, filmmaker, and community organizer based in Chicago. He is in Washington DC as part of a residency program with local documentary film nonprofit Docs In Progress. The presentation will be closed captioned and ASL interpretation will be provided.
