Join us between October 27th and November 3rd, 2023 dressed up in any book related costume (book characters, librarians, authors, literal books, etc) at any Busboys and Poets Books to get a special treat: 15% off your entire purchase! There’s just one catch: let us take a picture of you in your costume in store OR write a short blurb/review for a book of your choice. Your photo might make it to our Instagram story celebrating this spooky season or we might use your review in store to promote the book! If this makes you uncomfortable- no worries. Ask your bookseller for more information.
We haven’t forgotten about our Bookstore Members: If you are a Busboys and Poets Books Member, you are eligible for 20% off during your visit so long as you are in costume AND complete one activity AND let staff know at checkout. Proof of membership will be requested at checkout (this can be either the membership card or contact information on file).
We hope to see y’all in store for this frighteningly-good sale. If you can’t come in person, you can always add some spooky reads from our Books To Go offerings. These books are available for pick up or delivery with any Busboys and Poets order through our website, DoorDash, UberEats, Postmates, and GrubHub.
This event is free and open to folks of all ages. Limited to 1 (one) 15% discount the day of your visit with any Busboys and Poets Books transactions. This does not include purchases/orders in the restaurant. Each costumed participant is eligible for the discount. If you do NOT consent to having your photograph or writing used for future marketing purposes, please let the bookseller know during your visit and we will honor your request.
Visit us in the bookstore between 11 AM and 7 PM to speak with a bookseller for some spooky recommendations with your discount! If you come by outside of bookstore business hours, ask for a manager to check you out in all your bookish glory and they’ll apply a 15% discount for you.
