Still Thinking is a poetry collection manifested as a labor of love that took some time but was worth it. Similarly to Khalid Karim’s first collection, Still Thinking contains poems that range in topics from the transition of Khalid’s life in prison to him now being free and much of what has come of it; difficulties in the Black community; family; politics; dedications, and more. This book also includes two short stories that the author plans to turn into a novel.
Still Thinking is definitely worth the read and will leave you wanting more!
Khalid Karim is joining us on the Busboys stage to discuss his second poetry collection. Copies of the book will be available for purchase during and after the event, and the author will be signing following the program.
This event is free and open to all. Our program begins at 6:00 pm, and will be followed by an audience Q&A. Copies of STILL THINKING will be available for purchase before and after the event. Please note that this event is IN PERSON and will NOT be livestreamed.
