Welcome to Youth Open Mic Night 2023! Join performers from Frost MS, Woodson HS, Thomas Jefferson HS, West Springfield HS, and schools across the DMV area. Students, teachers, families, and friends are welcome.
The event will take place on Tuesday, June 6 from ~7~9 PM at the Busboys and Poets in Shirlington: i.e. 4251 Campbell Avenue, Arlington, VA.

If you're interested in performing, send your name and the title of your piece to mcverb@gmail.com. If you would like to do a duet with another student or an adult, please note their name.
Tickets and slots are limited, so the quicker the confirmation, the better.

p.s. Everyone in attendance will get to vote for the performance that most moves them. 6th place will win $5. 5th will win $10, 4th $15, 3rd $25, 2nd $50, and 1st $100. The true prize, though, honestly, will be the ability to share, grow, and enjoy each other's company. Each performer at the open mics last spring and fall brought unique strengths and made for genuinely memorable nights. :)
