This Month's Features:

Tim Livengood is a storyteller since way back, learning from vinyl LPs on a record player. He has told stories at festivals in the Mid-Atlantic, in homes, in schools, in parks, in planetariums, and on the summit of an extinct volcano in Hawaii, just to pass the time. Tim is a planetary astronomer by day, although it took him years to realize the irony in that description. Astronomy sometimes finds its way into Tim’s original stories, and other experiences in science can appear here and there. He has a CD, which he would love for you to buy and add to his rich coffers of treasure.

Gerald Fierst is a performer, writer, and teacher, who has appeared throughout the US, Europe, and Asia, telling original stories, stories from his own Jewish tradition, and stories from world folklore. He leads workshops for teachers and students in writing and performance. He is a two-time winner of parents choice awards for audio recordings. His books include The Heart of the Wedding, Bye, Bye, Big and Imagine the Moon.

Storyteller and poet Luray Gross told her first stories to herself while perched in an apple tree on the Pennsylvania farm where she grew up. Since then, she has brought story, song and poetry-making to thousands of students and teachers during over twenty-five years as a busy Teaching Artist. Known for her expressive voice and energetic sensitive teaching style, she believes that creative expression is vital to our lives.

Pianist/composer Phil Orr toured nationally as accompanist for Vic Damone and Sandler and Young, and performed with Grammy Award winners Diane Scanlon and Arturo O’Farrill among many others. He concertizes in New Jersey in solo and collaborative settings with J. Seward Johnson (Sing Along With Sculpture), Jerry Rife (Dixieland Hymns & Spirituals) and Steve Hiltner (Sustainable Jazz Ensemble). He has nine ensemble and two solo recordings to his credit.

Bill Wood has been telling stories professionally for over 25 yrs., and has delighted over half a million people of all ages with his warm, dynamic style! He is in demand as a presenter, workshop leader and keynote speaker. and is a rostered artist with the PA Council on the Arts, Arts in Education program. Bill is the author or co-author (with Vicky Town) of 5 audio-books with awards from the Parent’s Choice Foundation and World Storytelling Awards.
