Event will be hosted at busboys and poets. Dining options available. Seating is first come first serve.
RULES
Comedy show will take place once a month on the first Friday. Comedians sign up by paying a $20 registration fee, %100 of which will go toward the winning comedian. Performers will have 5 minutes each. At the 4-minute mark, they will receive the flashing light. Each person will receive a 10-second grace period; however, if they go past 5:10 secs, they will be disqualified from the competition.
The order of the competition will be decided by random draw at 6:45 PM. If anyone is late to the draw they will have to go first. If multiple performers are late, they will perform in the order they show up. Ex: Malik arrives at 6:55, Jasmine arrives at 6:58, Jasmine performs first, and Malik performs second.
The show will start promptly at 7:00 PM, anyone not available at the time their name is called will forfeit the competition.
No more than 10 comedians will be allowed to perform.
Pre-selected judges will decide on the top 3 comedians of the night, and audience applause will decide the winner. The winner will be paid immediately following the show.
