As of November 2014, there are roughly 16,740 people living with HIV in Washington, DC (12,087: Men, 4,392:Women & 261:Trans) . What's needed are new and innovative ways to reach and connect those infected & affected with HIV. #POZArt will showcase the works of both HIV-Positive & HIV-Negative local artists and unite both communities by creating a safe space to encourage self-reflection and self-expression.
