Dr. Helms is a renowned scholar, educator, mentor, and leader in the field of psychology, with a focus on racial identity development, multicultural counseling, and social justice. She has published over 100 articles and four books and has trained and inspired countless students and professionals. She has also been a fierce advocate for racial and social justice, challenging racism and oppression in various contexts and promoting equity and inclusion for all. We are proud to celebrate her remarkable achievements and contributions to the field and society. This event is invite-based and not open to the general public.
