Lian Gogali is an award-winning peacemaker, Ashoka Fellow, and champion of women's full participation in Indonesian society. Her organization, Institute MOSINTUWU, operates the Women's School, which provides an opportunity for women to discuss gender issues, social service rights, village rights, reproductive and sexual rights, and basic economics. The Women's School community is now hundreds strong, and graduates of the program have gone on to create initiatives of their own to further community development.
