Join us for a night of community! If you missed the gathering in Shirlington, VA last month, here is your next opportunity! Meet us at Busboys and Poets in DC at 14th & V to network with other creatives, learn more about Artomatic, hear stories from past Artomatic artists, and sign up for a committee for the next Artomatic event.
This Artomatic event is FREE to the public.
In 1999 a handful of visual artists decided to take control of their need for space to be seen, heard and experienced. Douglas Development offered them the 90,000 square-foot Historic Manhattan Laundry on Florida Avenue, NW between 14th and 13th Streets. On Wednesday, November 9th they will discuss their unique effort to provide open access to all artists, on a first come-first-serve basis. Structured so participating artists would contribute their time and skills to organize the space that would be free to the public. HEAR THEIR STORY Wednesday, November 9th at Busboys and Poets from 6 - 8 pm.
