Politics & Prose at Busboys and Poets 14th & V welcomes Mark Green to present their new book "Bright, Infinite Future: A Generational Memoir on the Progressive Rise."
Starting in the 1960s when he signed on as one of the original Nader’s Raiders, Green has been an indefatigable political crusader, involved with debating William Buckley and Pat Buchanan on Firing Line and Crossfire, working as a public interest lawyer against big tobacco, and narrowly losing the 2001 New York City mayoral race in the closest such contest in a century. Green, also the author of books including Who Runs Congress? draws on his experiences, his knowledge of several decades of the American political landscape, and his fighting spirit for this inspiring call to the rising “Progressive Patriots†of 2016.
Green will be in conversation with Ralph Nader, legendary activist and writer, most recently of Breaking through Power, forthcoming next month.
