Poets and poetry fans rejoice! The Welcoming Committee (TWC) is teaming up with Busboys' gender+sexuality series ZAMI to organize an LGBTQ open mic night at Busboys @ 5th & K.

I want to perform! What do I need to know?

Performers will have 2-5 minutes to perform a piece or series of pieces of their choice.
Poets, spoken word performers, singers, comedians, and acoustic musicians are all welcome.
Content is welcome to be LGBTQ related but this is not a requirement.
To sign up, add your name to the clipboard when you arrive that night. You’ll be called up by the host sometime between 8:00 and 9:45pm.
