Description:

The family of Askia Muhammad and WPFW present Each Others Dreams: Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Askia Muhammad, this Saturday, March 5th, 2022 from 4 until 7pm at Busboys and Poets, 450 K Street, NW.

There will be the reading of Askia’s poetry, and that of others - music, visuals, and memories shared in celebration of Askia’s boundless contributions to our humanity.

The celebration for our dear brother, will also be broadcast on both WPFW in DC, and WBAI in NY!

Seating is limited; doors open at 3:30pm; and masks are required.

As Askia reminded us on Yardbird Sweets - one is born, one dies, the land increases! Long live our poet laureate of the mornings!
