Please join The Unrest Group and The School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution for an evening of spirited conversation at Busboys and Poets.
Donald Trump's victory in the New Hampshire primary and continued popularity in national polls is a troubling indicator. The rise of rightwing movements and political groups across both Europe and the U.S. demonstrates that feelings of hostility towards immigrants and the political establishment are a global phenomenon. The resurgence of authoritarian, xenophobic politics raises a series of questions for those on the political Left, the most pressing of which is what can we do about it?
The format for the evening includes short presentations from our guest speakers and an open period for dialogue among participants.Â
Speakers include Jennifer White, Solon J. Simmons, Tehma Lopez Bunyasi, Richard E. Rubenstein, and you! Â
This event is free and open to the public!
