Baltimore Rising follows activists, police officers, community leaders and gang affiliates, who struggle to hold Baltimore together in the wake of Freddie Gray's death in police custody.
SPEAKER: Rev. Jeffrey Brown
Rev. Jeffrey L. Brown is a nationally recognized leader and expert in gang, youth and urban violence reduction and coalition building. He is the founder of RECAP (Rebuilding Every City Around Peace), an international initiative organized to assist cities build better partnerships between the faith-based community, government and law enforcement agencies in an effort to reduce gang violence.
He recently started My City At Peace, a real estate and programmatic initiative that seeks to invest in multi family properties and build mixed-use housing in distressed communities plagued with high cap rates.
