From accomplished Poet and Spoken Word Artist, DC native, Miko Reed Collins, comes an indelible collection of poetry & personal essays about love, relationships, heartache, & finding her identity through it all.
With the rhythm of Nikki Giovanni, Miko reckons with the pain of her past in her new book, found on Amazon, “Eggshells In Soft Black Hands.'' Her writing serves as a call to action to use our voice to heal from generational trauma. Authentic & relatable, Miko captures the delicacy of black girls & shows us how she uses poetry to find the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel. Miko is a Graduate of Georgetown University McDonough School of Business & a current student in the Johns Hopkins Masters of Arts in Writing Program.
