Telling Intimate True Stories brings together twenty plaster of Paris castings of women’s breasts turned into art together with companion stories that give voice to feelings and experiences from each woman’s life. The Oct 1 opening of Telling Intimate True Stories is a reception and fundraiser for Taking Flight in recognition of October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Taking Flight is inclusive of all women and is committed to reaching breast cancer survivors. The 2015 exhibit of Telling Intimate True Stories brings attention to breast health as it gives women a platform to express their feelings related to their bodies and lives.
