Join us for an evening of drinks, food, music, and discussion. The evening will begin with live music provided by the Hillbilly Thomists from the Dominican House of Studies. As things settle down, we will transition into a talk given by Chad Pecknold on the importance of Catholics engaging the culture of the modern world, followed by a brief period of Q&A.
Chad Pecknold is an Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He is the author of Transforming Postliberal Theology andChristianity and Politics. Apart from exploring the challenges posed to Christianity by the modern world, much of his work focuses on Augustine's doctrines of God, grace, and the two cities.
