The Social Innovation Festival aims to empower, inform, and connect DC’s community of changemakers. This year’s Social Innovation Festival, Creating Social Innovation Through Tech, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, is a celebration of how innovations in business, the creative arts, and technology aid in the fight for social justice. We are taking the best ideas and spreading them through four days featuring a design workshop, speaker events, networking, a business competition, and a hackathon.

The Social Innovation Lab is a collaborative effort between Busboys & Poets, DC+Acumen, and Social Solutions. The Social Innovation Lab brings together individuals from a variety of backgrounds to build a community that designs innovative solutions to social problems. The Social Innovation Lab covers a variety of topics, and is presented in a variety of form such as: artistic performances, workshops, panel discussions, and community forums. Social Innovation Lab takes place the fourth Sunday of every month at Busboys & Poets Brookland. The event is free and open to the public- register here.
