Cindy Rivka Marshall is a multicultural and Jewish storyteller, Story Coach, workshop facilitator, professional development trainer, and Jewish education consultant based in Boston. All in just one person! Cindy has performed stories and presented workshops since 1989 throughout New England, nationally, and in England, at festivals, conferences, schools, libraries, synagogues, churches and community groups. Cindy runs the Dancing Tree Story Workshop at the Gorse Mill Artists Studios in Needham, MA where she offers workshops and coaching in storytelling skills. Whether she is performing, teaching, or consulting, Cindy Rivka Marshall tells stories that hold universal lessons, resonate with her sense of wonder and convey her value of respect for all. Her CD, By the River: Women’s Voices in Jewish Stories won a 2007 Parents’ Choice Recommended Award, and her recording, Challah and Latkes: Stories for Shabbat and Hanukkah, won a Storytelling World Honor Award and a National Parenting Publications Award. Susan Gordon is a storyteller, poet and a prose writer of memoir and fiction. She is a skilled teller of traditional tales and has taught storytelling in colleges, universities and from the barn on her farm. Susan is now telling personal stories that explore the weave of relationships in her life. She hosts the Hilltop Writers and offers a series of house concerts from her home. Whether Susan is telling, writing or teaching, her work always invites the listeners to run their fingers across the fabric of their own lives. Susan has a master’s degree in therapeutic storytelling and lives with her dog, River, on a 41 acre farm in Ijamsville, Maryland. Lear more at Susan's website. Â
