Noa Baum is an award-winning storyteller, educator and public speaker performing internationally with diverse audiences ranging from the World Bank, prestigious universities, and congregations, to inner city schools and detention centers. Born and raised in Israel, she was an actress at Jerusalem Khan Theater, studied with Uta Hagen in NYC and holds an M.A. from NYU. Chosen by Washington Jewish Week as one of 10 most interesting local Jews of the year, Noa offers a unique combination of performance art and practical workshops that focus on the power of narrative to heal across the divides of identity. Michael Parent, a Franco-American Mainer, has performed as a storyteller-singer, in both English and French, since 1977. He is a 1999 recipient of the National Storytelling Network's Circle of Excellence Award. He was a keynote speaker at the 2001 National Storytelling Conference, and at the Sharing the Fire Conference in 2005. He has been featured at events throughout the U.S., as well as in Canada, France, Austria, New Zealand, Ireland, England, Poland, Brazil, and Costa Rica. After living in Virginia for many years, Michael returned to his home state of Maine in 1998, and now lives in Portland.
