For May's Social Innovation Lab we're highlighting how journalism and media can be used for social impact. The event will open with a discussion with representatives from Internews and the Center for Media and Social Impact, and others, on how their work translates into tangible social Impact.
After the panel discussion, attendees will work in groups with members of our community of changemakers to design a social journalism platform that focuses on social innovation. We are also offering the opportunity to work on this project on an ongoing basis. No media or journalism experience is required to participate in this exercise.
