Politics & Prose at Busboys and Poets, Takoma, presents Rebecca Dinerstein discussing her new novel, Sunlit Night.Â
A Rona Jaffe Graduate Fellow at NYU, where she earned her MFA, Dinerstein is an accomplished poet whose first book, Lofoten, was a bilingual Norwegian-English collection of haunting poems. In her first novel, Dinerstein revisits Lofoton, turning the Norwegian archipelago into a place of solace and refuge for Frances, an aspiring artist recently dumped by her lover, and Yasha, who has come to the island to bury his father.
