Freedom Fighters DC seeks liberation for all Black people through the eradication of fascism, white supremacy, and racism present in the United States. We are a collective of like-minded people, based in the DMV area, committed to the aforementioned sentiments. We were formed in response to the killing of George Floyd & Breonna Taylor and have decided to use our voices to spread the change we wish to see. There are seven co-founders/ Board of Directors that have come together to build this organization. Black people experience violent oppression under systemic racism in the United States of America and deserve justice. We come together to fight police brutality, racial inequality, and any system that does not promote the true equality and equity of all persons. We believe that the abolition of police and prisons is necessary in order to bring about Black liberation.
