Mary Bowman

When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid” This quote by Audre Lorde is one that Mary Bowman embodies as she shares her personal story with the World. Performing for over 5 years, Mary has graced stages all over the East Coast. In 2012 she had the honor of performing at the International Conference on AIDS as well as the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington, DC. With the recent release of her first recorded project, LOVE B.O.A.T.S. (Based On A True Story) Mary is taking her artistry to new heights using her roots in music and her singing talents to continue telling her story.
