ABOUT DOUG LEVITT AND THE GREYHOUND DIARIES
In 2004, singer-songwriter/artist Doug Levitt set out on his first six-week tour by Greyhound,
writing songs, largely about folks struggling to get by. Inspired by WPA-era projects that drew a
fuller portrait of America, Doug — now nearly a decade and 100,000 miles on — has performed at
a range of venues including The Kennedy Center and Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Prior to
becoming an artist, Doug was a London-based foreign correspondent, covering conflict zones.
