Artopia invites you to its latest creative mixer featuring storytellers of the African diaspora: writer Tope Folarin, aspiring filmmaker and comedian Heldana Afework , writer, documentarian and multimedia storyteller Saaret Yoseph, a multimedia producer, director and writer Chuckwunonso Angel Dureke, and photographer, archivist and editor Yodith Dammlash.
Bring a friend or two, mix and mingle with fellow creatives during social hour, followed by Q & A and discussion exploring themes of culture, identity, migration and "untold stories."

Artopia is a community of and a platform for creatives and art lovers of the African Diaspora living in the Washington, D.C, area. We provide the platform for artists and are able to support and enjoy the arts through events like this one, each centered around specific themes within the arts. For this event, our theme is storytelling, so we're featuring writers, filmmakers, directors, producers, photographers, and archivists.
