Salah Sarsour is a longtime Palestinian community leader and 30-year legal permanent resident who was taken at gunpoint by ICE for his constitutionally protected advocacy against occupation, apartheid and genocide in Palestine. Now released, Salah is fighting deportation. His case could set an alarming precedent for both Palestinian rights and broader free speech in the United States.
Join Salah Sarsour and Patrick Taurel, his lead immigration attorney, in conversation with Ed Hasan, host of the Sumud podcast, to discuss Salah’s ongoing legal battle and how his case implicates all of our rights to freedom of speech.
